Privacy Policy
Last Revised: June 27, 2026
1. Introduction & Core Philosophy
At Wiperts.com ("Wiperts," "we," "us," or "our"), our foundational mission is entirely oriented around protecting your privacy and returning absolute control of your personal information back to you. We operate in an industry defined by the exploitation of data, and we stand as the direct counter-measure to that exploitation.
We recognize the inherent irony of requiring personal information to remove personal information from the internet. As such, our operational philosophy is strictly governed by the principle of Data Minimization: we assiduously collect the absolute least amount of information necessary to perform our suppression and removal services on your behalf.
Please read this comprehensive policy carefully. By accessing or using our website and services, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to our collection, storage, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. We treat the limited information we do require responsibly, securely, and ethically.
2. The Wiperts Zero-Exploitation Guarantee
We want to make our stance unequivocally clear, beyond standard legal jargon. Our business model is entirely funded by the subscription fees paid by our users to protect them. We are not an advertising company. We are not a data aggregator.
- We will never sell the data you provide us to anyone.
- We will never rent, lease, or monetize your profile.
- We will never use your data to serve you targeted third-party advertisements.
- You retain sole ownership of your data at all times.
We exist to scrub your footprint, not to add to it. The sole purpose of any data we hold is to act as your authorized agent to mandate data brokers, people-search sites, and public aggregators to delete your profiles.
3. Information We Collect (And What We Don't)
To effectively locate and issue legally binding removal requests to data brokers, we must possess identifying information that matches their records. We strictly compartmentalize the data we collect into three categories:
A. Account and Billing Information
When you register for a Wiperts plan, we collect standard account details to maintain your subscription:
- First and Last Name (of the account holder)
- Contact Email Address
- Payment Information (Note: Wiperts does not store raw credit card numbers. All payment processing is securely handled by our PCI-DSS compliant third-party processor, Stripe. We only retain a secure token and the last four digits of your card for billing reference).
B. Service Execution Data (The "Scrub Data")
To perform our core service — finding your exposed profiles and forcing their removal — we ask you to provide specific data points. We only collect what is strictly necessary to differentiate you from someone with a similar name. This may include:
- Current and previous residential addresses
- Date of Birth or Age Range
- Known aliases or maiden names
- Associated phone numbers
- Family member names (if applicable to your specific removal plan)
Crucial Distinction: This Service Execution Data is securely siloed. It is only accessed by our automated systems or specialized agents for the express purpose of generating and verifying opt-out requests.
C. Technical and Usage Data
Like all secure web services, we automatically collect limited technical data when you interact with our website to ensure security, detect fraudulent activity, and maintain site performance. This includes IP addresses, browser type and version, operating system, and basic routing data. We do not use this technical data to build behavioral advertising profiles.
4. How We Use Your Information
Wiperts will only use your information to the absolute extent it is necessary to perform our services for you. We use your data for the following strictly defined purposes:
- Executing Removals: Utilizing your Service Execution Data to cross-reference databases, identify exposed profiles, and submit legally compliant opt-out, deletion, and suppression requests on your behalf.
- Service Delivery: Processing your transactions, maintaining your account, and providing customer support.
- Communication: Sending you scan results, removal progress reports, billing notices, and critical security updates.
- Platform Security: Detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent transactions, unauthorized access, and other illegal activities.
- Service Improvement: Analyzing aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve the speed and efficacy of our scanning algorithms.
5. Information Sharing and Disclosure
Wiperts maintains a strict non-disclosure policy. We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing or business purposes. The highly limited circumstances under which your data may be shared are outlined below:
A. Data Brokers (The Opt-Out Process)
To remove you from a data broker's database, we must communicate with them. We act as your authorized agent. When submitting an opt-out request, we securely transmit the minimum required matching data, aggressively utilizing privacy-preserving methodologies to ensure the opt-out process does not inadvertently enrich their databases.
B. Trusted Service Providers
We employ highly vetted, SOC2-compliant third-party companies to facilitate our operations, including secure cloud hosting infrastructure, encrypted email delivery systems, and payment processors. These providers are bound by strict, legally enforceable Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
C. Legal Requirements and Law Enforcement
Except in the performance of our services for you, we will not otherwise provide your information to anyone unless we are compelled to do so by law in response to a valid, legally binding court order, subpoena, or search warrant. In the event we are compelled to disclose any of your information, we will make every legal effort to notify you in advance, unless we are explicitly prohibited from doing so by a legally binding gag order.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
The safest data is data that no longer exists. Wiperts follows aggressive data retention schedules.
- Active Accounts: We retain your Service Execution Data only as long as your subscription is active, as continuous monitoring requires reference data to detect reappearing profiles.
- Account Cancellation: Upon cancellation of your service and the expiration of your billing cycle, your Service Execution Data is placed in a queue for cryptographic deletion.
- Right to Erasure: You may request the immediate deletion of your entire profile and all associated data at any time by contacting our support desk. Upon verification of your identity, we will purge your records from our active servers within 14 business days.
7. Security Protocols & Encryption
Because we process sensitive personal information, we deploy enterprise-grade security architecture designed to thwart sophisticated cyber threats:
- Encryption at Rest and in Transit: All sensitive user data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is secured via TLS 1.3 cryptographic protocols.
- Strict Access Controls: Access to user databases is restricted to authorized security personnel via Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Zero-Trust network architecture.
- Routine Penetration Testing: Our infrastructure is subjected to routine vulnerability scanning and third-party penetration testing.
While we implement industry-leading protocols, no system is completely infallible. If Wiperts ever detects a breach of our security systems that compromises your unencrypted data, we will notify you and the relevant regulatory authorities within 72 hours.
8. Your Rights & Global Privacy Regulations
Wiperts operates on a global standard of privacy. Regardless of where you live, we grant you the rights afforded by the most stringent privacy legislation, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
You have the right to:
- Know: Request a transparent disclosure of the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Access: Obtain a portable, structured copy of your data.
- Correct: Request the correction of any inaccurate information we hold about you.
- Delete: Mandate the permanent erasure of your data from our systems (the Right to be Forgotten).
- Non-Discrimination: Receive equal service and pricing regardless of whether you exercise your privacy rights.
To exercise any of these rights, please submit a request to our Data Protection Officer at the contact information provided at the bottom of this policy. We will verify and process your request within 30 days.
10. Children's Privacy
Wiperts takes the protection of minors exceptionally seriously. Our core services are not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from minors without verified parental consent in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
If you are a parent or guardian subscribing to our "Family Privacy Plan," you represent that you have the legal authority to provide the data of your dependents to us for the sole purpose of executing removal requests on their behalf. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor outside of this authorized context, we will immediately delete that information.
11. Business Transfers
In the highly unlikely event that Wiperts is acquired by, merges with, or sells its assets to another corporate entity, your personal information will remain subject to the absolute protections outlined in this preexisting Privacy Policy. We will explicitly mandate that any acquiring entity uphold our Zero-Exploitation Guarantee, and we will notify you via email and prominent website notices prior to any transfer of data ownership.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
The landscape of digital privacy and data broker legislation is constantly evolving. As such, we reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our operational procedures or to comply with new legal mandates. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last Revised" date at the top of this document. For significant updates that alter how we handle your core data, we will provide proactive notice by sending an email to the address associated with your account.
13. Contact Us & Escalations
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy, our data collection practices, or wish to invoke your legal data rights, please contact our dedicated Data Protection and Compliance Team.
